My fellow abolitionists,

I hope this letter finds you well. I have some news I want to share with you about our work and the future of our organization.

Operation Broken Silence is experiencing tremendous growth and seeing new successes. The needle is moving in the fight against mass atrocity crimes and human trafficking. We are seen as an up and coming leader in the field of human rights and are widely recognized as an authority on these issues.

In fact we have grown so much that in order to continue our growth and fulfillment of our mission, we have decided our two focus areas should part ways. The first organization, Operation Broken Silence, will remain dedicated to abolishing mass atrocity crimes. Meanwhile, our human trafficking department intends to create a new organization that is solely focused on combating human trafficking.

Despite our growth we still have modest resources. In order to better serve those in need of our assistance, we have decided to part ways to open up additional resource avenues. I anticipate we will continue to learn and work together on shared issues as they arise. At this time it is projected that the aforementioned changes will begin going into effect in February of this year.

Our human trafficking team will stay underneath Operation Broken Silence as they work towards achieving 501(c)(3) status underneath a new organization. We will update our supporters again once all changes are complete or if our projected path is altered.

We are excited about the future that awaits. If you have any questions please reach out to us at info@operationbrokensilence.org. Talk to you soon.

Onward,
Mark Christopher Hackett
