Chipotle Fundraiser Night 2016 Results

Posted by on October 26th, 2016

On the evening of October 26, 2016, our good friends at the east Memphis Chipotle hosted a fundraiser for the people of Sudan. We asked our supporters to show up and mention that they were part of the event so that Chipotle would donate 50% of their purchase to our work in Sudan. Here are your results!

While we did not reach our $1,000 goal, we were still amazed with how many of you showed up and brought friends who had never heard of the crisis in Sudan before or our work there. Through this event, you helped us recruit a number of new supporters who will be sticking with us in the months and years ahead. Great work!

What Happens Next?

The funds you raised at our Chipotle event will be divided up between our programs in the next few weeks. Yes, we move that fast! If you want to know more about how the funds you gave and raised are being used, LEARN MORE »

Small events like this are just one of several small steps we are taking towards a peace and just Sudan in our lifetime. Our next step is on November 1, 2016 when we launch a new online fundraising campaign that will provide direct support to the only hospital in the war-torn Nuba Mountains of Sudan. GET INVOLVED »
