Kendra Scott Benefit For Sudan Results

your shopping will change lives

Posted by Audrey Tetzeli on April 19th, 2018

On the evening of April 18, 2018, our good friends at Kendra Scott hosted a fundraiser for the people of Sudan. We asked our supporters to shop for good so Kendra Scott could donate 20% of all purchases to our work in Sudan. Here are your results!

We were amazed with how many of you showed up and brought your friends and family. Great work! And a special thank you to Brooke Vogel from Kendra Scott for setting the evening up for us. Thank you Brooke!

What Happens next?

The funds you raised at Kendra Scott will be put towards the Endure Primary School we sponsor in Yida Refugee Camp, South Sudan. This top-performing school is run entirely by the Sudanese with your financial support. You can watch this video to learn more about this amazing institution:

The Endure Primary School in Yida Refugee Camp is one of the few high-impact schools serving Nuba students in need. Without this critical Nuba-led institution, over 900 more children would be without access to a classroom. Many of the students at the school are orphaned or don't know where their parents are, making the school one of the only structured things in their life.

Here are three effective ways you can help support the teachers and students at the Endure Primary School:

1. Start Fundraising. Stand for education with us by starting a fundraising page and raising $250. This is the best way to help pay teacher salaries and provide school supplies. BECOME A FUNDRAISER »

2. Register For Good People Good Beer. Our 6th annual beer tasting Gala that empowers Sudanese-led education efforts in Sudan returns on June 16, 2018. Tickets are going fast, so we encourage you to register today. LEARN MORE »

3. Give. If you're not ready to fundraise or can't attend the Gala, making a one-time donation to the school is the perfect next step for you. GIVE HERE »
