In March 2017, your donations were used to help bring over 22,000Ibs of Corn Soya Blend nutritive supplement to more than 500 Nuba refugees in great need in Uganda.
People in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan have been living in emergency conditions since June of 2011, when the government of Sudan launched a relentless campaign of terror and death against their communities. The Sudanese government has officially banned all aid and media organizations from the Nuba Mountains in an attempt to cover it’s crimes. The deteriorating situation here has become a forgotten conflict for much of the world.
To make matters worse, South Sudan imploded into its own civil war in December of 2013. This means that refugees fleeing from the Nuba Mountains have found few safe havens outside of Yida Refugee Camp. Many Nuba refugees who moved further south into South Sudan have been caught in the crossfire of South Sudan's civil war and fled into Uganda. They have now had to flee two warzones and are at severe risk of falling off the radar both Sudan and South Sudan humanitarian efforts. Click or tap the map for a visual.

Corn Soya Blend (CSB) is a fortified blended food used extensively by humanitarian agencies for decades in emergency situations due to it being rich in vitamins and minerals.
This aid delivery will provide CSB to this small community of Nuba refugees for the next 4-5 months as they move towards sustaining themselves. Here are a few photos from the relief mission:
