May 22 School Supply Drive Results

a brief update on the Endure Campaign

Posted by OBS Team on May 22nd, 2015

On May 21, 2015, Operation Broken Silence and First Evangelical Church partnered together to accept donated school supplies for the Endure Campaign, the only ongoing fundraising campaign supporting educational intiaitives for the Nuba Mountains of Sudan.

Collectively, you gave $532 worth of school supplies and financial support! Thanks to everyone who came out to pitch ins! A special thank you to supporter Maria Cox and Pradip Ayer for helping us put the drop off day together!

So, what's next? If you want to stay involved we have two great opportunities coming up.

1. Good People | Good Beer 2015

Our most popular fundraising event of the year is just around the corner! The 3rd annual Good People | Good Beer 2015 will be held on June 13, 2015 at Playhouse on the Square. If you're into craft, high-gravity beer and good barbecue, this is the event for you.

2. Join Bowling For Sudan

This unique event pits 8 teams of 5 individuals each against one other in a competition for two awards: Best Fundraising Team and Best Bowling Team. Each team is raising $2,500 to enter the competition. We still have a few team spots left, so consider joining today!

Funds raised from Bowling for Sudan will go to the Endure Campaign, which supports education in Nuba refugee camps.
