Since 2011, the government of Sudan has been waging a genocidal campaign against the people of the country’s Nuba Mountains. Sudanese President and indicted war criminal Omar al-Bashir is using a strategy of daily aerial bombing, destruction of food resources, and a blockade of humanitarian access to the region to crush an armed rebellion that the government instigated. While this strategy has failed thus far, the manmade suffering inflicted upon the civilian population is reaching extreme levels. Children are some of the most-affected.
The organization is hosting a special pre-screening event on December 6, 2014 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center: Memphis. For more information and reservations, please click here.
