Earlier this summer we announced a new media project that has the potential to introduce thousands of people to the crisis in Sudan and get them directly involved with our programs on the ground. You can watch the above video for an overview of the Yida Photography Exhibit.
Last week, you raised the last little bit we needed to start building the exhibit! Here are your campaign results:
Most sections of the exhibit include educational posters that explain aspects of life in Yida and the background of the crisis in Sudan. There is also a singular flow of direction as this is a story-driven art project that leads people into joining our movement.
Visitors will be encouraged to snap photos on their smart-phones to share online so that more people can visit the exhibit when it travels to their area. There will be no fee for entry as the focus of the exhibit is getting new people involved for the long-term.
