Giving Tuesday 2018

100% of your gift supports life-saving programs in Sudan

Tuesday, Nov 27, 2018, ALL DAY

Tuesday, Novemeber 27 is hands down one of the best days of the year to make a donation. Why? Because we put 100% of your gift towards the lifesaving programs in Sudan we support!

Last Giving Tuesday, you gave and raised $9,393. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 by midnight tonight! Whether you give $25 or $250, 100% of your gift goes to empowering the Sudanese people!

This is our 5th year celebrating this special day of global generosity. We'll be calling on our global movement to participate by giving to one of our specific programs. And this year it is all for a new school in Yida Refugee Camp, South Sudan!

Here are four simple steps you can take to celebrate this day of global generosity.

1. Donate Now

This year, we are highlighting our newest program that is just getting off the ground: The Renewal High School in Yida Refugee Camp. As soon as this new school is open, students from the primary school in Yida we sponsor will be able to continue their studies once they gradutae. Giving to the Renewal high School is easy and only takes a minute!

All donations to the new high school are currently being matched 100%! That means when you give, a generous group of private donors will give the same amount as well. DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT HERE »

2. Become A Fundraiser

Go the extra mile today and start a fundraising page for the new high school we are opening in Yida!

#StandForEducation is the name of the game, and we need you to stand up for the new school with us. Our Nuba education partner is ready to get the school up and running, but this will only happen if it is fully funded.

You can play an important role in doing just that by starting your fundraising page and asking your friends and family to donate. If you've never fundraised before, that's okay! Our staff will help you get started as soon as your page is up and running.

3. Spread The Word

Our staff will be livestreaming on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at 10AM CT! If you're not yet, go ahead and follow us so you don't miss out and can share our message with your friends!

You can also copy the below message and share it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We have a template picture you can print off and take a selfie with to share on social media. DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE »
