Tuesday, Novemeber 28 is hands down one of the best days of the year to make a donation to our lifesaving programs in Sudan. Why? Because we put 100% of your gift towards the primary school we support in Yida Refugee Camp!
There are three simple things you can do today to help us make this one of our biggest giving days of the year:
1. Give Right Now
Last year, you gave and raised $7,714 on #GivingTuesday. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 by midnight tonight! Whether you give $25 or $250, 100% of your gift goes to supporting our school in Yida Refugee Camp!
And this year we have exciting news! The first $3,000 in donations is being matched by a small group of anoynomous donors. That means that if you give $50, they will pitch in $50 as well. Boom, your impact is doubled!
2. Spread The Word!
You can invite your friends by joining the Facebook event page and using the Invite Friends feature!
We also have a template picture you can print off, write why you gave on, and take a selfie with to share on social media. DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE »
Just remember that when you upload your selfie to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to include a link to the Giving Tuesday campaign so people can easily get involved. You can copy/paste it here: https://fundraise.operationbrokensilence.org/campaign/givingtuesday-2017/c147723
3. Join The Livestreams!
Our staff will be livestreaming through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram throughout the day! Last year, you brought over 15,000 people together to hear our stories online. Here's the times we'll be online this year and what we'll be talking about:
