Good People Good Beer Gala 2018

Saturday, June 16, 2018 | 8:00PM at The Propcellar

Saturday, Jun 16, 2018, 8:00PM-11:00PM

Welcome to the 6th annual Good People Good Beer Gala!

This special evening directly benefits our primary-level school in Yida Refugee Camp, where we support 12 Sudanese teachers and nearly 1,000 children every day. Many of the students at our school in Yida have lost or been seperated from their parents due to the war they fled in Sudan.

Funds raised through the gala pay Sudanese teachers' salaries and provide school supplies throughout the year.

Your support at Good People Good Beer ensures that these teachers and children continue getting support in the months ahead. Register or donate today.

The 6th annual Good People | Good Beer is Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 8:00PM. This year you can register for FREE and raise $200 through an online fundraising page, which usually takes about 10 minutes, or pay an entry fee and skip fundraising.

Participate At The Gala

This is a fundraising gala! You can help us reach our goal throughout the evening by participating at the Whiskey, Wine, & Beer Pull, Hope Notes Wall, Renewal Short Film Screening, and Light Wall Photo.

And there is always just the good old-fashioned donation that you can give by card. Your support empowers our life-changing education program in Yida Refugee Camp!

This Year's Theme: 1920's Speakeasy

This is a themed dress up event! You should arrive in 1920s speakeasy attire. Not exactly sure what that means? Check out our blogpost for dress attire ideas. No shorts, flip-flops, or t-shirts. Dress to the theme so you're not left out!

The styles of the 5 beers being tasted throughout the evening and music will also hail from the 1920s era. The event will be at The Propcellar, a beautiful vintage-themed warehouse on Summer Avenue in the heart of Memphis, TN. This year, there will be even more vintage furniture to fall in love with. You will also have the opportunity to see our breathtaking photos from Yida Refugee Camp, which show you exactly where your support is going!

Take A Look Back At Last Year's Gala

Become A Sponsor

In 2017, Good People Good Beer quadrupled in size and still almost sold out. For the 6th annual event in 2018, we are expecting 300 guests, which is even larger than the 2017 event. With this event continuing to grow at the rate it is, this is a perfect time for your business to reach a new audience that cares deeply about our work and loves companies, churches, and social groups that support us.
