Being a mother anywhere in the world is rewarding, but it can also be hard. Mothers in Sudan have faced impossible challenges for decades, but war and oppression haven't stopped them from doing amazing things. 

In Yida Refugee Camp, moms really are superheroes. They run tea shops, farm, and do laundry. They also watch out for orphans. Some mothers have taken in 15 or more children to provide them a loving home. When you ask mothers in Yida what they want most, education for their children and others is at the top of their list.
